AIUS: Avoiding Common Pitfalls in IRB Applications: Insights from a Reviewer’s Perspective

One of the key hurdles doctoral students face is gaining IRB approval for their study, as all research must be approved before data collection can begin. In this information session, an IRB reviewer will highlight the most common errors and pitfalls found in IRB applications. By exploring these issues and providing strategies to prevent them, the session equips doctoral students with the knowledge to strengthen their submissions, minimize delays, and move forward in their research.
